How it works
Choose Your Coach
-
Find a coach that is certified through PAAC:

and/or ADDCA: https://addca.com/adhd-coach-directory/ -
Coaching is a partnership, so it’s important that it “feels right”. Have a personal interview with one or more coaches to see how the chemistry works. Coaches are accustomed to this, and there is usually no charge for such an introductory conversation.
What’s the Process
-
The coach and coachee can meet online or in person to determine whether they are a good fit. The coach will explain how the coaching sessions will work and ask the coachee about the areas they would like to tackle.
-
This is often followed by a short demo coaching session, lasting about 15 minutes, to give you an idea of what the sessions usually entail. This could be part of the introductory meeting, or scheduled separately.
-
An important part of coaching is the initial written contract, which sets out all the key conditions, such as the number of coaching hours, length, price and the responsibilities of the coach and coachee.
-
The coaching may begin with an initial session to determine the current situation and coaching objectives.
